At the Sundance Film Festival, the Utah Film Commission activates a curated hub—where industry insiders explore filming incentives and production capabilities. This year, we leaned into Utah’s cinematic legacy and breathtaking landscapes to champion the state’s pivotal role in storytelling.

Under the banner of the “The Story is Utah” campaign, our space blended rich visuals with immersive design to showcase the state’s versatility—from sweeping cinematography to intimate, character-driven moments. We also tapped into festival energy, offering daily “Utah film” button designs that guests eagerly collected—many returning day after day to complete the series. The result was a buzzworthy destination that genuinely celebrated Utah’s place on the filmmaking map.
